An Evening of Sports, Stories, and Inspiration
When I first started writing A Shot at Love, I was driven by one question: What if the star athlete in a romance novel was a woman? Why aren't there most stories set in the world of women's sports?
Women’s sports — especially the WNBA, college basketball, and the new Unrivaled women’s 3-on-3 league — have exploded in mainstream media lately. These athletes embody strength, dedication, and confidence, and they deserve to be the heroes of their own love stories.
At this event, I’ll talk about the state of women’s sports and how they inspired my debut novel. I’ll also share a short reading, answer questions, and sign books. There might even be a game with some fun prizes!

About A Shot at Love
Recently featured in the Indie section of Kirkus Reviews, A Shot at Love follows Annie Larger, a rising WNBA star whose career and love life collide in a story about resilience, ambition, and second chances. After a devastating family scandal, Annie must team up with her ex-boyfriend, now a famous sports reporter named Daniel, to save the WNBA career she's worked so hard for.
